Innsworth Lodge held their Ladies Festival on 10 May 2013 at the Brickhampton Golf Complex; a venue that has served the Lodge well on previous occasions.
The Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Andrew Skelton, toasted “The Ladies” in original verse and Mrs Liz Skelton bravely replied in similar vein. The Innsworth “Choristers” expressed their appreciation of The Ladies in “song”.
The Brethren and their guests (a total of 57 attendees) were treated to a first class carvery meal, with a variety of starters and sweets, “one or two” toasts and speeches, an “unbelievable” raffle, lovely Ladies’ gifts and dancing to the Apollo Discotheque. The evening was declared a great success by all. The Master Elect even gave a demonstration of his dancing skills – which augers well for his year in the Chair!
